Alan has been working within the Not-For-Profit Sector for over 30 years. An IT Professional, who has delivered systems to many small and large organisations across the world.

Alan suffered a cardiac arrest in 2022 and this life changing experience changed his outlook on life.

Halt 2 Proceed was developed from his experience working with beneficiary charities, charities working in the Domestic Violence sector and his own experience.

Alan has undergone counselling training and Peer Support training, he is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Chartered IT Professional, A Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute and a Close Social Fellow. He recently completed an MBA at The University of Wales, Trinity St David.

His unique outlook on life is one which we can all learn from.
